HAC Testifies Before the U.S. Virgin Islands Legislature on Heirs’ Property

On January 29, the Housing Assistance Council testified before the Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands Committee on Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, and Planning on the topic of heirs’ property. Included in HAC’s testimony was a presentation of Heirs’ Property: Elevating the Story, a video presenting the complex, nuanced, and diverse experiences of heirs’ property owners, community members, and the organizations that support them in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
